One of the biggest problems my husband and I had when planning our wedding was deciding what our first dance song should be. We both have very different tastes in music and are quite specific about what we like and what we don’t like. We also wanted to choose something that hadn’t already been done by a million other couples at a million other weddings. We chose unusual flowers. We had a strange theme. I wore a somewhat non-traditional dress. He wore jeans and a t-shirt. It seemed silly to dance our first dance to something traditional because, while tradition can be great, there is nothing traditional about my husband and I. We needed a unique first dance song so I hit the internet to find a list to go through. I discovered there is a shocking lack of info out there about unique first dance songs so I decided I’d come up with my own list. I’m going to share that list with you now. Remember though, your first dance should be to a song that says something about how you feel about each other.
